This company misrepresented what they could do for me. I was told that their fee would be based upon the reduction of my tax liability and that they estimated that it would be a reduction of $50,000. Their fee for this would be $13,000. It's a hefty fee, however, worth it if they could get that reduction. They were only able to get me a reduction of $6,000, but are still charging me that $13,000. With the finance charges included, I am now in debt for $17,000 because I hired TaxRise. Worse company ever. I have filed a compla... read more

Case manager does not return messages timely and nobody from the company has been able to provide useful information on the status of my case.

Don't waste your money... no.. seriously... RUN!! I have been trying to get these people to resolve my tax resolution for literally two years and so far all I've managed to get is a lien and the opportunity to have to waste even more time and more money (which to date, with Tax Rise, is in the ballpark of about 10k) to find someone else to replace them. I responded to Tax Rise ad from instagram and it suggested that tax debt reduced or illuminated. I contacted Tax Rise and went to the process. ******** received was promising reading about other peoples tax debt reduced.Tax rise resolution in my case however wasnt favorable. They reduced my installment amount which I could have done on the *** website for free. Additionally they petitioned *** to remove penalty for late payment of about $400. This company is a gonna scam the wrong people, they have ruined our family and home. This company says whatever is necessary to ******* hardworking people out of money and do nothing to actually assist with the tax situation. Taxrise has turned this difficult site into a total nightmare. The worst part is they will constantly call and hound you to pay them every month but will not call you with an update or progress on your account or answer phone calls or voice mails.I can't believe they are still in the business. I am a USMC combat veteran and foolishly reached out to Taxrise requesting help with a Fed Tax debt.I was continuously lied to, and tricked into setting up a payment plan that was not clear on their fees. I was hit with an $8500 bill to procede and my initial monies collected can not be returned.Please advise other Americans to be very careful with this scam outfit Thank you *****

Waited on hold for over 10 minutes. Asked to speak with my rep, after another hold the person I was speaking with advised my rep was unavailable. Scheduled a call back for two days later. My rep has not responded to multiple email requests for documents. I have to get these documents to my attorney and I'm running out of time and patience.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, UNLESS OF COURSE YOU DONT CARE ABOUT GIVING AWAY MONEY!!! TAX RISE IS THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS. HOW CAN YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF WHEN YOUR SCAMMING HARD WORKING PEOPLE OUT OF HARD EARNED MONEY.
