TaxRise, I initially requested help from you all. I complete an 843 Form and a hardship letter to the *** myself and got the desired results. The *** has responded with and update that I have approved for forgiveness on the penalties and interest for my 2012 tax year. Its taking too long to finish my tax situation and I want a refund.
Re: Case ****** I am very disappointed in the service received vs. service promised. I spent approx $3400 plus $500 down payment to Taxrise in 2021 to help resolve my back tax issues in order to prevent Judgements/Liens etc. I explained to my case manager my husband had suffered a ********** needed help with filing several years of back taxes. Bait and switch scam. Told me that based on my numbers I would qualify for Offer in Compromise. Almost a year later they said best they could do was get me *** status which you can do on your own with the *** in about 2 hours for free. They had already charged me $7k at the beginning based on the idea that most of my debt would clear and I would be in a better spot financially. They also failed to notify me that a lien was placed on my property as part of the *** status.

I hired taxrise to resolve my tax issues, they deduct money from my account every month and they didnt do anything, I have had 9 case managers and none of them are on the same page. I was told I would not get judgments place against me which was a lie, now my case. The money I paid them I could have sent it to the **** I WOULDNt REFER ANYONE TO THIS COMPANY. Very impressive until after they get your money. I really feel someone should give me some or all of my money back. Bad choice

This was the biggest waste of time and money. They tell you about these great programs that you qualify for and then after they get your money ( which we paid over $4000.00) all they were able to get was a payment plan which my tax accountant could have done for a lot less. I could have used that money towards my tax bill. This was a rip off. Stay away from this company.

I am a very dissatisfied client for your lack of professionalism and timing in handling my 2019 taxes. I hired you to do my taxes only to find out that my Federal Taxes had been turned over Turbo Tax and my State taxes never were filed. I have been charged interest and penalties by the State that cannot be waived. Only finding this out when the State contacted me, not Tax Rise. I want a full refund for a service that I paid for but never received.

The company takes your money then dont actively work to resolve the issues! Unprofessional staff and very disorganized. My issue wasnt for much and its **** 4 years and they havent done much to resolve the issue ! I thought the *** was a thieve but Tax rise has outdone then!!Keeo your money and dont use them!

Taxrise is a complete waste of time and money. For two years they did nothing but made lame attempts to contact me, Once I was informed of the portal to log on and provide documents, I did so, Then they sat, I had to keep reminding them that I submitted my documents, which took many hours of my time to gather everything that they request. My resolution came and the told me that they "successfully" reduced our monthly payment to pay back everything, including the penalties and interest tha they all but swore to reduce.This is... read more
