I started with Tax Rise in November of 2021. I was told the process was seamless and that all my tax problems with the *** would be the past. Immediately after agreeing to move forward I was already shocked to know that HAC would be handling the financing which was $2700. The original case manager I got didnt seem to care at all. On Friday I Taxrise them a deposit for services, Sunday I emailed and texted, my assigned resolution officer stating I did not want to utilize the company and wanted a refund based on the reviews I had seen here and on ******* It has been impossible to reach anyone. They sent me an email to schedule a call with the client success team, which I find ridiculous when all they need to do is refund my money.I did schedule it and they called 3 hours earlier than the scheduled call(I was not available). I feel as a senior citizen desperate to resolve Tax Debt after a Bankruptcy Discharge necessitated post retirement, I was misled and had $500 taken for no real service. I spoke to a rep. in April and was told after he "checked algorithms" I was qualified for assistance in resolving tax problems. Opened a account with tax rise 1/19/2021 to have them help resolve some back tax issues .They put me through their loan company ***************. I have sent paper work multiple times due to getting, reassigned. to many different case workers over the last year just over all run around. Had me talking to a lawyer that did absolutely nothing. Tax Rise Is TERRIBLE!! We were blown off multiple times by the *********** claim they are tax professionals, they changed our person of contact 6 times in a year. No one ever called when they said they would. Messages would go days without being answered. Deadlines were near impossible to meet. They told me NOT to contact the **** but when I had questions they were unable to answer. So I did contact the **** and imagine that they are the ones who helped me not Tax Rise. Tax Rise was unhelpful in my tax situation and dropped the final resolution big time with the *** suspending my passport and threatening liens on my house and nothing being reduced in my tax liability. When negotiating they offered $500 to resolve $80000 in tax liability. I instructed them to offer at least $20000 which they didn't, keeping to the $500 figure which the *** refused. Do not use this firm to do your taxes I have supplied documents several times I was passed on to several different personal and each stated that they would send me there contact information and none of them did but each one did asked to send in documentation again I had no choose but to set up a payment plan with the *** and no help from TAX RISE INC

SCAM! Paid them $3000 to file one tax return that had a mathematical error and they werent even able to negotiate anything with the **** except a payment plan, which I already had in place with the **** for what they did I could have did myself and paid the money we paid them to the **** I DO NOT recommend tax rise. Contact the *** yourself and set up a payment plan or use another company. Very displeased with their service!!
