They are a legitimate company, eventually always got back to me, lowered my tax bill by about $2000, and got a payment plan for me with the **** BUT on my very first phone call with them I revealed all my financial details and said I wasn't interested in a payment plan, only if I could be eligible for getting CNC (Currently Non Collectible) status, which I was assured I'd be eligible for. Absolutely horrible experience. Taxrise charged me $6200 for their services and did not get any change in my tax debt. So basically now I just added $6200 to my tax debt. I have to make a 270 per month payment on the taxrise service and now another 450 per month to the **** They had me give them $250 for the investigation fee and then after they got that part done, I was told by Taxrise that my *** debt would go from $25,000 down to $10,000. This company is the biggest scam. I went to them to resolve money I owed in taxes FIVE YEARS AGO and they still havent resolved the initial issue. Documents requested multiple times have been provided and still no resolution. The company should be shut down. They collect people who are already in a financial hardship and promise to help but the reality is they just keep you for future tax filings. They cannot keep employees and have zero structure. We started off well but the experience did not end well.It appears Taxrise never actually submitted my final paperwork regarding my settlement with the ****Now I have to redo the entire process AND pay another company to represent me. At first it was great, I was receiving consistent progress updates. However, for the past year Ive been getting inconsistent information and its taking multiple calls to get an update. My case is dragging on now for 3 years and at then of every year Ive been told more info is needed after being told months before that they have everything. Its very frustrating.

These reviews are fake! I saw how scammy this company was so I immediately canceled my relationship with them . Now Ive been waiting 2 weeks for a refund which they have refused to give me unless I issue them a bank statement! This is a scammy company with fake reviews trying to steal your money .

These people say Im talking to handles my case when I fact Im not had me upload all my files didnt bother uploading to my paperwork was to communicate with irs by certain date didnt do that now Im in worse trouble with irs than before and now being passed around the whole office and am told I cant speak to the one whos actually doing my taxes Ive paid them close to a thousand dollars now and they have done nothing I hired them to do they said they have a resolution for me but has yet to contact IRS on my behalf

Promises made never kept told me they were going to settle for $500. They did nothing of the sort. There was a lot of miscommunication and loss of paperwork on their part had to re-submit documents many times did not get callbacks when promised I was not happy with the service at all. I would not recommend these people to anyone..
