Well I'm a fool for not doing my taxes for 20 years but I was assured that my tax problems were over when I talked about doing taxes me personally I mean the state and federal apparently ****** was just talking Federal you sure did make it sound like my tax problems were over $5,000 later they said I owe 14 Grand to the states I mailed them 2 different letters to their business their address and put my return address on the top left corner and they said they didn't receive it and I didn't get it back all my information so ap... read more

We were assured they could reduce our tax debt. All they did was get us a payment plan, something we could do on our own with the *** directly. Now we are in debt to the *** with no reduction and to Tax Rise for over 8000$. In the beginning as they were taking our money they were very responsive, now no one wants to talk to us, go figure!

Starting pitch is Grand, with a smiling voice along with good tone of voice and a considerate manner, but. . . The amount quoted by ********************* to alleviate my IRS problem came out to be less than I owe. TaxRise claimed to be tax experts and could help me with a tax settlement. None of which they did. I asked them initially based on my income could I qualify for tax debt relief. They charged me $5,000 to shuffle papers back and forth with the **** I was finally able to talk to the *** and they told me that no compromise would have worked because based on my income I do not qualify. I am really angry and disappointed with Tax Rise. I spent about $2500 for nothing to be done with my taxes with IRS. I received call today by case manager that they helped by removing the penalties but still owe the same amount. If I would have continued paying IRS there would've been no penalties. I strongly do not recommend signing up as Tax Rise will not do absolutely nothing to help with reducing your balance with IRS. It really is horrible what Tax Rise does and representatives should be ashamed working for Tax Rise.

Stay clear of Tax Rise!! They charge $695 for their "investigation" of your tax situation. They have a very good "sales pitch" making you believe they can actually help only to find out after their investigation there is nothing they can do to help. The manager said "no we can't reduce your tax debt" ???? why do they advertise that this is what they do?? its a scam!! They never resolve my case. I took a loan out to clear this matter with my taxes. They try to charge me twice once with a loan and once on my credit card. After the credit card didnt go through they put my case on hold. But I was told the one price and they try to double the price. Three years later and this case has not been resolved yet. I sent them all the documents that was required. Then I took a loan out to cover the case. As of this day they are playing games with me.

Tax Rise advertises that they can get tax relief for your IRS tax ***** It's a lie. It took them 2 years and all they did was me up on a repayment plan which I could have done for myself. They charged me $3,000.00 fir nothing and they were rude about it.

This company is a scam. I paid them 500, for them to tell me everything I told them and then they turned around and asked for ******* more. These 5 star reviews are fake!!!!
