I'm very disappointed in the outcome of my tax situation. I still have to pay the balance. This was a waste of time and money.

Horrible experience. Dont go to them. They are a waste of money. They took almost a year to resolve my tax is***s and I ended up owing the same. They had some sales guy sell me their package of tax relief and they said they can ************ on half or possible under $3k. I originally owed $17k and I was already on an installment agreement. They told me to cancel the agreement with the irs, they would take over and take care of everything. I took out a loan for $5,800 to pay for their service. We went with Tax Rise and tried working with them for 6 weeks. The last 3 weeks we could not get a response from them from our emails or phone messages. After having enough of being ignored we emailed and told them to stop all business matter representation for us and that we were stopping payments for services with the company ***************************. Company was hired two years ago to negotiate a reduction of taxes owed. After two years of monthly payments they stated that our case was settled. The ONLY thing that they negotiated with the *** was too have a lien placed on our home for the full amount owed. This lien will increase with interest and penalties as time goes on. This is NOT what they advise !!!!!. They made NO effort to negotiate with the *** for a reduction in the amount owed. It seems that I paid this company only to get no resolution from the **** I received a letter from IRS basically letting me know that I still owe the full amount. Taxrise has to this point has not contacted me as to my resolution. This is **** to me.
All I will say is if you are in a repayment plan already. Just work with the *** or find another company. When I did not agree with the outcome no one contacted me back. I was informed during my resolution call last year and I quote, "Well you owed ****** and high tax liability is hard to negotiate" Therefore if you owe that or more I would highly reconsider this company.
