Would leave no stars but have to have at least one to post. Contacted them over a year ago and after over a year of paying them instead of my debt while they "worked" my case, they were not able to do anything for me. After hundreds of dollars, phone calls that went unanswered, and a "new" phone system that leaves much to be desired, they let me know today they were not able to reduce my tax debt. What a joke! I requested their service last yr about march 2022 and it is a yr later and they are not done with my account but I have paid all my fees about 7 grand worth smh I thought it was very expensive but I was like what the h*** as long as it get done. I don't get no updates and they constantly tell me to send in documents that's I have already sent them I'm very disappointed in this company I thought I was gona get a 1 service but I guess not I'm just a little lost for words because I paid for a service that is not my field so I ... read more

Was mislead in several aspects of services by initial Case manager and when asked to speak to a supervisor several times no such actions were taken

So far they are not very helpful. Trying to send documents or get your case manager to call you back for help is a nightmare. They didn't give us enough time to get the information they wanted it in like 2 days. They think everyone is tech savvy and know how to do things on a smartphone. Some of us like the older generation are not. But I did have a nice young man call me back to answer my questions.

Very hard to get in-touch with anyone! Many automated messages saying I need to upload more docs that have been uploaded and snail mailed! When I did get in touch, I was informed that my application was finished and no further docs needed, only to receive more requests for more docs again!Started late last year and nothing has happened yet.

This company misrepresented what they could do for me. I was told that their fee would be based upon the reduction of my tax liability and that they estimated that it would be a reduction of $50,000. Their fee for this would be $13,000. It's a hefty fee, however, worth it if they could get that reduction. They were only able to get me a reduction of $6,000, but are still charging me that $13,000. With the finance charges included, I am now in debt for $17,000 because I hired TaxRise. Worse company ever. I have filed a compla... read more

Case manager does not return messages timely and nobody from the company has been able to provide useful information on the status of my case.

Don't waste your money... no.. seriously... RUN!! I have been trying to get these people to resolve my tax resolution for literally two years and so far all I've managed to get is a lien and the opportunity to have to waste even more time and more money (which to date, with Tax Rise, is in the ballpark of about 10k) to find someone else to replace them. I responded to Tax Rise ad from instagram and it suggested that tax debt reduced or illuminated. I contacted Tax Rise and went to the process. ******** received was promising reading about other peoples tax debt reduced.Tax rise resolution in my case however wasnt favorable. They reduced my installment amount which I could have done on the *** website for free. Additionally they petitioned *** to remove penalty for late payment of about $400.
