I have enlisted TaxRise to help me with my taxes to No Avail. I am paying $5700.00 (at ****** a month) and getting no value for my payments. I constantly have issues contacting them, and My case Manager has always been changed without notification. They provided me with Transcripts that were in error and put it on ME to correct.The lack of follow-up and updates is horrible. They basically stoke our money and not helped us one bit we are still getting letters from the irs. They won't let us out of our contract. Stay away we are about to start legal proceedings against them for breach and fraud ************

I acquired them back in March of 2021 and have had nothing but lack of communication when it comes to my case. My original case manager disappeared without notifying me. My second case manager lacked communication to the point I had to escalate to his boss and now his boss took 3 weeks to return a callback to me about my case. I first contacted Tax Rise to see if they could do something different than my CPA. They promised my initial $500 would be refundable IF their investigation proved they could not perform additional services/offer a different tax return than what my CPA could provide, to which I agreed. This company is really misleading people. They mislead you about the very small chance of getting into the *** tax saving programs. If you do not qualify all they do is set up a installment program with the *** which you can do yourself. I'm paying this company $4000 for a installment plan that I could of done myself for free. Watch out for TaxRise. Fraudulent practices. Buyer beware.

TaxRise charged $750 to start the process of resolving my tax issues with the *** After 10 months with little contact and zero recommendations I asked for a full refund They first offered $150 then a week later$250 to settle my complaint I refused both offer because they did not do the work They hire telemarketers to prospect for their so called tax pros The telemarketers are driven by commissions not on providing a resolution to your tax issues Save your money hire a real tax attorney!Thanks for nothing TaxRise!

Rather poor in customer service and shady operations. They never respond to an email. They will send you a text message but it will not provide an update about the current affairs. Sometimes the text message will come from an office assistant who knows nothing about the case. She may just be responding to a phone call that came in. I expected Tax Rise to help me negotiate with IRS. I underpaid my taxes and now with all the interest, I owe $20000. Im a retired teacher, single. My taxes are easy to do. I get no communication from this company for months. I do not know who my case manager is because I now have two who dont communicate. I could have done my own income tax on an app. I wanted lawyers, tax experts to intercede with the irs.
