When I first contacted Tax Rise they told me that they could get my back tazes down to almost nothing. I had to pay them $600.00 to start. The rest of their service was financed. Since then which was over a year, the amount that I owe is almost double the amount. They never got it reduced and negotiated a payment with the *** that I don't know if I can pay it. I think Tax Rise is a big rip off.

Do not link your bank account to this business!! They are very nice upon speaking with them and get all your information to assist you. Your $500 will be charged **** card. Then they start calling and emailing links to link your bank account to as they explain the irs has this information anyway so tax rise needs it to assist with your tax matters. I cancelled service with them and the calls will not stop.

I paid **** dollars and it's been two t and no resolution.They keep changing my case managers and never keep my appointments.They are constantly asking for documents that have been submitted over and over I want my money back! They have done nothing to resolve my case.

Do not use this company. They did nothing for my tax situation, spent thousands of dollars. Then they made me have a hire payment than the one I already had arranged with the **** I was told in the beginning of it didnt work I would get some form of refund. Did that happen? Nope. And ***** the manager is rude.

I started with Tax Rise in November of 2021. I was told the process was seamless and that all my tax problems with the *** would be the past. Immediately after agreeing to move forward I was already shocked to know that HAC would be handling the financing which was $2700. The original case manager I got didnt seem to care at all. But when I wanted to cancel everyone from Tax Rise wanted to reach out and assure me . I was given a new case a manger . On Friday I Taxrise them a deposit for services, Sunday I emailed and texted, my assigned resolution officer stating I did not want to utilize the company and wanted a refund based on the reviews I had seen here and on ******* It has been impossible to reach anyone. They sent me an email to schedule a call with the client success team, which I find ridiculous when all they need to do is refund my money.I did schedule it and they called 3 hours earlier than the scheduled call(I was not available). I feel as a senior citizen desperate to resolve Tax Debt after a Bankruptcy Discharge necessitated post retirement, I was misled and had $500 taken for no real service. I spoke to a rep. in April and was told after he "checked algorithms" I was qualified for assistance in resolving tax problems. Opened a account with tax rise 1/19/2021 to have them help resolve some back tax issues .They put me through their loan company ***************. I have sent paper work multiple times due to getting, reassigned. to many different case workers over the last year just over all run around. Had me talking to a lawyer that did absolutely nothing.
