2026 - Not much has changed, still amazing food, great service! A must try! Glad to see this place open, it is one of our favorites! We loved the stuffed mushrooms, the beef pandurada, potatoes and sautéed spinach followed up with the sticky toffee pudding (a must have!). The service was excellent! If you haven't been, this is a must try!

We tried this spot during Houston Restaurant Weeks for a Monday lunch at 1:00 PM. We ordered the Bacon-Wrapped Chicken and Peri Peri Calamari as starters, and the Filet Medallion Kabobs and Wild-Caught South African Kingklip as the entrees. The total was ~$63 for two people, which is reasonable for this part of Houston. The food was delicious across the board. I recently visited The Chef’s Table with a few of my vendors, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The service was absolutely incredible—the staff was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Personally, this is the best restaurant in Houston. Every time we visit we get incredible service and fantastic food. The spinach dip and steaks are standout dishes that I order every time. If you’re wanting dessert the sticky toffee pudding is amazing.
