There were 3 of us for a birthday celebration. First time. Not big eaters. 2 ordered the meatloaf,,,,acceptable. The 3rd person ordered the chicken and dumplings. Absolutely horrible. Worse than fast food fried chicken. Free birthday desert was a nice surprise.

We had a reservation. When we walked in we were met with a very unfriendly host who quickly stated “well we’re running behind so I will call you when we’re ready for you.” As if we were the inconvenience for having a reservation. We continued to watch her rudely dismiss people coming up to the stand. We were seated maybe 10minutes past our time, no big deal. Our waiter was quick to see us and get our drink order. Our entree arrived faster than I would have liked. When we were finished our waitress brought the bill without even checking to see if we wanted anything else, like we were being rushed. There were still other people in the restaurant. We eventually paid the bill as we were trying to finish our very full drinks. I was not expecting Hard Rock/Heavy Metal so loud you could not have a conversation. They lowered it when asked but still the meal was ruined. We won't return.

I went to Fountain for the first time during devour and it was pretty bad. service was absolutely terrible,.. took FOREVER to get my food with lengthy delays between courses. Waitress even joked, we'll have that out in about an hour after the second course and it was time for dessert. Food quality was average with the mashed potatoes being tastless and cold. the ambiance felt like a yuppie Dave and Busters,.. no real class or ambiance associated to what has been a class neighborhood. I would have no reason to go there.

Had been there for drinks twice before, made a reservation for dinner. We’re taken upstairs where it was very noisy and over crowded. Asked to substitute a vegetable for another of the same price and were told no. We decided to leave and told the 3 people at the front desk why and no one seemed to care. I was very disappointed and probably wouldn’t waste my time to drive down town, find parking just to get treated like I was going to a fast food place.

We went for devour for 3 course meal and waited for our entrees for over an hour for them to bring out wrong order. When I finally got my order my chicken was still pink inside so just asked for them to just bring out our desserts. When dessert came it wasn’t What I ordered.We we’re both supposed to get a dessert each . Waiter brings out a grasshopper pie for us to split and says that is all they have left. Needless to say I left hungry after being there for 2 hours. I will not be returning.
