As an owner of a property managed by the Manor, my experience with this company has been nothing but negative, rude, unresponsive, consistent with other 1 star reviews. Someone should reminder them their business is customer-facing. It is time for owners to consider switching management company.
We don't know why our owners association chose the Manor, absolutely bad idea. Basically these guys receive money from you every month, and they don't do decent work for you anymore. When we owners have to deal with these guys, they are extremely rude to you, acted like they are your boss, totally forgot they are just property management company hired by owners.
I have been familiar with the Manor Association sine 2006. Unfortunately, the staff continue to be less than responsive with calls and emails. I'm hoping to hear back from someone soon. I left a message more than two weeks ago. Lucky, my request is not urgent or emergent.
These people are the worst in this business . Unfortunately my apartment is contracted with them and I can't fire them easily so I have to pay $600 month to this company to do nothing for me. We needed a repair on the AC on the roof which is considered a shared area and these people have the key to the roof, but they forced us to have the vendor pick up and drop off the key which cost total of $260 ,hourly charge of our vendor-JUST FOR PICK UP AND DROP OFF. The service is absolutely terrible. No one seems to ever be working. Each time I try to contact them, they have an out of office email response. When they do respond, they tell me the community manager is out and would need to get back to me later. It usually take days and sometimes they don't respond at all. We had a plumbing issue that happened months ago and there is still a hole in the ceiling because no one at this association has the curtesy to follow up despite NUMEROUS requests. I worked with Chris Pagnotta. I had some last minute, difficult requests and he worked diligently to make it all work for me. Very very happy with him and his representation of The Manor Association.
The Manor Association has been with our HOA, helping us to navigate our way through a challenging lawsuit with the original builder of the project. No that is behind us, they have been great at coordinating the follow on actions needed to keep the HOA on track thru the initial known repairs as well as the follow on structural work we are doing. I don't enjoy post negative review on business, so they must have failed big to the point I need to share. Manor is the first company I have nothing but give 1 star on their practice in HOA. Please avoid using them for your HOA. Their sales pitch on overcome challenges - failed, 24/7 customer svc - failed. When you followed rule to request parking in your own community, 3 times , they don't respond back to your emails, and towed your car away. How do you just tow a resident's car? As an HOA Board member I worked with the Manor Association throughout my tenure. They were always responsive to our needs & provided excellent advice & guidance during a difficult mediation of a dispute with our builder.
