Learning to make gumbo and étouffée with Chef Sassy was the highlight of my trip to New Orleans. Taking the class alongside my three friends made the experience even more special. Chef Sassy shared a wealth of knowledge—not just about the recipes, but about cooking techniques and the rich traditions of Creole cuisine. Aww jeez! I traveled to New Orleans with a friend who is a professional chef. We both took one of the classes lead by Chef Sassy, and my oh my! This was a super fun, educational, and truly hands on all the way through! If I had time in this beautiful city, I would have taken a second class! I cannot rave enough about how thoughtful and organized Chef Sassy was throughout the entire class. She was so engaging. We received the history of each dish. If you want a totally hands on experience, this is a great choice! Chef Sassy was amazing! She was informative,experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and outgoing, she was a total joy to have as in instructor. The facility was beyond words! I thought I was on one of those shows on the Food Network, the entire kitchen and atmosphere of the facility was absolutely amazing, clean, and well organized. Can’t wait to make these meals at home!

We had a wonderful time taking the Roux class Conner was a great instructor. The class size was small enough to get lots of help with our dishes and everything tasted great. Highly recommended.

It was a hands on learning good time in the Big Easy! A definite must do for anyone who enjoys cooking (but not cleaning up 😇) The whole experience was fun and and I learned so much.
