It was a nice experience for me and my husband. The food was amazing and we learned some new cooking techniques even being local residents of Nola. Chef David created a good inviting atmosphere. We plan to come back with friends and family next time.
Very informative. We learned some very useful skills. The instructor was positive, helpful, knowledge and fun. We will return.
We did the Coolinary meal and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Chef David served us a glass of wine while he explained the history of gumbo. While we ate, he prepared BBQ shrimp table side. Very interesting to watch! Finally, he prepared Bananas Foster table side as well. It actually felt like we were having dinner at Chef’s home! So nice to hear stories from a local chef (who has been in the business since he was a teenager). We look forward to attending the cooking class next!
We had an excellent class. Everything was well organized and clean. The teacher was outstanding! The food was delicious!!
My wife and I had a great time with chef David. He was great at explaining the history of the different cultures of cooking. We would highly recommend anyone to try this class, the food made was excellent!!! We came away with a lot of new cooking knowledge!
Chef David was our awesome instructor for the traditional class and it was amazing can’t wait to make these recipes for our family and friends!! We so enjoyed this experience and atmosphere! Felt like family! We hope to do this again!
Excellent private cooking class in our Airbnb. Our chef was informative and provided a lot of history of the delicious food he made. I highly recommend this!
Great couples activity and the instructors were patient, friendly and full of information. Plenty of hands on experience with the three dishes we prepared. Will definitely return.
David was a great chef and teacher. He was fun to learn from and accommodated for my husband who doesn't like seafood 🙂. We both definitely recommend Mardi Gras School of Cooking!
