We did the Coolinary meal and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Chef David served us a glass of wine while he explained the history of gumbo. While we ate, he prepared BBQ shrimp table side. Very interesting to watch! Finally, he prepared Bananas Foster table side as well. It actually felt like we were having dinner at Chef’s home! So nice to hear stories from a local chef (who has been in the business since he was a teenager). We look forward to attending the cooking class next!

Business response:

Tonya, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your kind words and look forward to cooking with you soon!

Such a fun time! Besides learning to make three tasty sauces, having never been there before, we were given some history lessons about New Orleans too. Chef Chris helped explain the origins of Cajun cooking and how the different area cultures’ foods were blended into what we have today (including their music). Thank you, Chef Chris, for making this a memorable time for our family! We already used what we learned to make an incredible remoulade sauce for dinner a few nights later. Book your class today! You won’t be di... read more
