David did a great job with the Traditions class. Our original date had been overbooked, so we were rescheduled. We were the only two students, but David did not skimp on the lesson. Great mix of hands on and demo of techniques. The food was amazing and we will definitely try making it at home. Thank you, Mardi Gras and David!

Business response:

Hi, Chris. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!

Grateful for the class Chef David gave to my husband and me last night. You were so accommodating when we needed to change our original scheduled time. Chef Dave is passionate about cooking and teaching. We loved hearing his Cajun family stories. Our evening was fun learning many tips for chopping and seasoning. I’ve been cooking for years, but learned so many new principles for cooking. We had an awesome meal of barbecue shrimp..the sauce “ to die for” jambalaya and bread pudding. This has been the highlight of our trip so... read more

Everything about the entire cooking class was great!! We decided to do the class because I wanted to learn how to cook etoufee. I was pleasantly surprised how relatable Chris was. It was as if we were getting reacquainted with old friends, having a glass of wine, and cooling a meal together. He seems to be a great historian/story teller of the gumbo and etoufee dish. He really made it more of a cooking experience! The food was fresh and amazing!! Worth every penny. We'll definitely do it again when we return.

Business response:

Hi, Kecia. Thank you so much for leaving us a stellar review!

This hands on cooking class was the best one I’ve ever taken. Our Chef, Scott, was superb. He was so knowledgeable and gave us tips that I did not know and I’ve been cooking for 50 years. The food was excellent. Altogether an awesome experience.

Business response:

Thank you so much for your kind words, Patsey. We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us. Bon Appetite, The Mardi Gras School of Cooking

My wife and I had a GREAT time. Chef Preston was amazing!!! We enjoyed the small class size so we could ask questions and get insight on how to prepare these amazing dishes. We enjoyed the stories and history of the area too. We have recommended The Mardi Gras School of Cooking to many people. We will make a return trip to NOLA before too long, and I am sure we will be booking another class. Thanks again for a great experience.

Business response:

Hi, Dr. Kent. We appreciate the kind words and are glad we could provide you with a positive experience!
