My puppy loves this place! She always has the best time when she is there. I have used their boarding service and daycare and I am happy with both. I wish it was a little more affordable so I could take her more often. I am confident they always take a good care of my baby!

My cockapoo puppy Daisy LOVES coming to daycare here. It helps so much for her to play with other dogs and use up her energy so she's more calm at night. Everyone here is great and super helpful. Daisy runs in every time. She can't wait to see her doggie friends!
This place is fantastic.... We live in Chicago and I reached out to them via email after reading reviews online - when we found out we were coming into town for a family funeral and needed to put our dogs in daycare for the day. Jeff was very quick to respond and let me know what they needed so our dogs (who regularly attend daycare in Chicago) could spend the day with them.... The only reason I recently boarded my dogs here was because our dog/house sitter backed out on is last minute. Normally we take our dogs to one of two farms out east of Eastgate of we have to board them (their costs are $20/dog and includes day care, walk, etc. at no extra cost). There are pros and cons to The Pet Spot. First, it's close to where we live, so getting there is easy. Second, they do make sure dogs have fun and you can watch via webcams. The staff cares a lot about the dogs and customer service is top notch. Our dog Benny always has a great time playing with the other dogs.
They always do a great job with our pets. We just boarded our dog for the weekend. When we saw how clean and shiny he was after their grooming service, we were as excited to see him as he was to see us. Their staff is friendly and take great care of our pup.
I have been a loyal customer of The Pet Spot since they opened. Jeff and The Pet Spot team always welcome my dogs (a #70 Lab and #90 Lab-mix) by name and the pups pull at their leashes to get into the daycare door! My Lab is scared to death of people, but LOVES her time at The Pet Spot. Whether for boarding or daycare, you can't go wrong with trusting your furry family members to the love and care The Pet Spot offers.
It's always hard to give five stars, but when my dog is treated well and has a trusted place to go when we're away or when he needs a day at doggie daycare, five stars is warranted. Franklin has now been twice: once for boarding (plus doggie daycare -- since it was his first visit, I went all out) and once for daycare. I'm on the fence about the Pet Spot. I have been taking my dog there for daycare one day a week for several months. Overall, it has been a great experience. Recently I boarded my two dogs over the new year holiday. One went to daycare every day, the other did not. The one who went to daycare came home sick. He vomited all his food within 3 hours of coming home. He refused to eat the next morning which is a big deal for him. Took him to the vet...he was dehydrated....had to get fluids and a shot.
