I have been a loyal customer of The Pet Spot since they opened. Jeff and The Pet Spot team always welcome my dogs (a #70 Lab and #90 Lab-mix) by name and the pups pull at their leashes to get into the daycare door! My Lab is scared to death of people, but LOVES her time at The Pet Spot. Whether for boarding or daycare, you can't go wrong with trusting your furry family members to the love and care The Pet Spot offers.

It's always hard to give five stars, but when my dog is treated well and has a trusted place to go when we're away or when he needs a day at doggie daycare, five stars is warranted. Franklin has now been twice: once for boarding (plus doggie daycare -- since it was his first visit, I went all out) and once for daycare. Both times he was sufficiently cared for and seemed to have a lot of fun. Reservations are necessary for boarding (starts at $26/night), but not for daycare (open 7am to 7pm). I'm on the fence about the Pet Spot. I have been taking my dog there for daycare one day a week for several months. Overall, it has been a great experience. Recently I boarded my two dogs over the new year holiday. One went to daycare every day, the other did not. The one who went to daycare came home sick. He vomited all his food within 3 hours of coming home. He refused to eat the next morning which is a big deal for him. Took him to the vet...he was dehydrated....had to get fluids and a shot. Love this place. Friendly staff, always willing to work with me, and most importantly, my dog LOVES going here. I have been to many day cares in Cincinnati and this tops every single one. Thank you!

Loved the staff. Got nicest room they had, but it was a barren, cold, prison-type room. Dog got kennel cough while there. The web cams were more a curse than a blessing. Watching my dog at the door at every sound in hopes of being let out was worse than not knowing.... But I think this is more about kennels in general not this one in particular.

I love the Pet Spot. I have taken my dog there for both daycare and boarding and have never had a bad experience. They always report on how he does and they are extremely friendly. As a bonus, they will trim your dog's nails (no charge) and bathe him (extra charge unless your dog is staying over 5 nights) while he's there. The last time I boarded him there, they upgraded him to one of their villas because they ran out of the others at no charge to me, which was a pleasant treat. When I travel for work it is often at the last minute that I have to gidde-up and go...thank goodness for the Pet Spot! Their care for my two canine wards is always loving and patient. My dogs love their play time, they adore the staff and I love that I can leave them and not worry! I've told the staff in the past that one day, I'm going into doggie day care, because it looks like so much fun being with all those new canine friends. I've been taking my puppy, who I refer to as Wildman Wendell because of his limitless energy, to puppy daycare for the past few months. For $23, I can drop him off for 12 hours (7 am - 7 pm) and he can run around and get out what energy has. The nice thing was that before I committed to daycare, The Pet Spot requires that you do a trail day, and then they give you a report card on how your dog does.
