Didn’t care for the food or the atmosphere —the food was sun-par and the restaurant was dark and dreary. Service was good.
The skirt steak was very hard to chew. And the Osso Bucco was mostly fat. The Paella was undercooked.
Poor service, waiter complained he was supposed to be off but came in at the last minute. Many items were out of stock, blamed it on restaurant week. All dinners were not served together over 20 minutes for the last two plates out of 6 to arrive, by that time everything else was cold. We live locally and went there many years ago when they first opened, gave it another try not much has changed. I would not recommend it and will not go back again as there are many better places to dine in their price range. Very disappointing... read more
Waited an hour and a half for appetizers… the manager then said that it was because they are busy. I told him that other people have gotten there food before us and they sat after us and he still claimed it’s cause they were busy when they were not… manager was not helpful with this matter. The waitress was very nice. Still don’t have an answer for why sushi and 1 meatball took almost 2 hours.
Overbooked and Overcrowded (Restaurant week) Despite a reservation made the previous morning, we were at first told it would be a 15-min wait. There were at least 10 people milling about the foyer and hostess station and every table was full. Good for them, bad for us. Our appetizers were given to table next to us that had literally just sat down and ordered. Service was extremely slow. That table of five that had gotten our apps was finished and bill paid before we even got desert. Was never offered refill on my soda. Will not return.
Food not very good. Had better Ossobucco at Milers’s Ale House and much better meatballs at Iavarone Italian Kitchen for the same price(bigger and two of them). Definitely not worth the price as their food quality and portions have shrunk it seems. Service was good at least.
Despite having heard good reviews, our experience yesterday evening was not that great. Our food was very delayed. It took a long time for our appetizers and then for our entrees. When our entrees came out, it was not cooked to our request and we received orders that we didn’t request. It seems the waitress was not familiar with the menu and resulted in poor service.
