Too crowded. Didn’t feel social distancing was being enforced and was not crazy about my sushi roll.
This is the second time I have made a reservation and the second time I have left and gone to get fast food. Do not bother making a reservation, time means nothing to Thom Thom. They tell you they will call you...And then lie to your face and tell you they called you. Meanwhile you’re wearing a Apple Watch and check your phone and have no missed calls. They don’t know how to handle reservations. Food is it worth the headache.
Entrees took forever to come out. We went the day after Valentine’s Day and it seemed they didn’t not expect it to be as busy as it was. The Thai calamari was the best thing we ordered. Sushi and steak were mediocre.
No issues with the food. The service was slow. It took over 45 minutes for us to get our appetizers. Additionally the waitress brought me an incorrect drink twice. The second time I just drank it.
It was a terrible experience, they didn't let us eat dessert. we have our dessert to go. I felt discrimination, because there are three more tables there, and they say we have to close.
They overbooked us and we had to wait outside in the cold for almost 1/2 hr! When we finally got in, they put us in front of the door with the cold wind coming in! Over booked? Really?!
For starters we sat upstairs which was extremely bright and felt like we were sitting in a diner… Three out of the five people I was with had their steaks cooked wrong… The menu they gave us was different than the menu online… things were eliminated. Our waiter was very pleasant and sociable which was the only positive thing about our visit… I will not be returning there
So I hate to leave negative reviews so understand thins bothers me to say. The food was excellent, the people were nice and overall it was good. The reason I feel this is a negative review because the service was terrible. My wife and I took our 4 year old there at 6 on a Friday night. We sat down and got drinks and my son a drink. The waiter was nice and courteous but then he disappeared. The place wasn’t busy yet so the lack of attention was annoying. I don’t think the restaurant is practicing social distancing. I will not be going back to eat dinner on a weekend night for a long time. This was disappointing to me as I love this restaurant. Also, the waiter was void of personality, seemed rushed. I also asked the hostess for 2 surprise birthday pieces of cake with candles . The waiter than came over and said to my friends that cake was already ordered , would anyone like tea or coffee. There went the suprise.
