HORRIBLE- not only do they never tell you that they will be charging you a HIGH monthly fee, but you also have to pay a ton of money for a therapist. Then when you find out you cancel, they still charge you even after they promised you they wouldn't charge you. Thank god I had this all in writing. I went to my bank and uploaded all the documents and proof and my bank believes me and what I was told. SCAMMY! Shameful. What is even worse, the directors of their company have no empathy or tact. Horrible experience all together . They also charged my son different prices, depending on the day I guess! Nobody could agree on how much he was supposed to be charged. Then told him he owed for more sessions than he really had. We set up a payment plan back in November to pay off remaining balance only to be told that he still owed more almost a year later. Completely ridiculous. Nothing but stress and anxiety from a place that is supposed to help you.. never want to hear from them again. Absolutely do not recommend!

They are a horrible company. They took money out of my checking account multiple times without any kind of notice. The customer service sucks and to treat people the way they do is unacceptable. The only thing I can say positive is the counselor I was seeing. She was the best part of thriveworks. Do not go to them they hold on to your debit card and refuse to erase it.

1st appt was ok. Second appt I had to reschedule and the customer service girl I spoke with said she did in fact reschedule it for me, come to find out she never did. I left work early and drove home just to find out there never was an appt. Then she tried scheduling it for another day without even asking me, knowing they charge the full session fee if you don’t show. My fiancé and I sought premarital counseling through thriveworks. When we signed up, we were told about a "membership" which allows us to both contact our counselor individually, etc that we signed up for. We scheduled an appointment, never received a link for our meeting & were charged a $100 fee for a "no show". I emailed the counselor and never heard back. I like to think of myself as a reasonable person but ultimately I felt extremely ignored when I sought help through here. The process felt very fake and the few sessions I had made it extremely clear to me that they would be no help to me. Specifically, I spoke with someone about being put on medication for something, and specified I did not want to be put on an antidepressant. “Happy healthy lives” That is the promise you get with Thriveworks. What they don’t tell you is that they won’t treat you if you require intense care. Both providers I had seen through Thriveworks told me in 2 sessions or less that I require too much care and that I need to see someone else in another practice. They charge a borderline predatory fee (99$) if you miss an appointment or don’t cancel in their “flexible” cancellation policy of 23.5 hours. They asked for all kinds of info 1st then tell you there is a membership fee, so I declined, then they offered to waive the fee, still i declined , then they charge you anyway. Then you got tot call back and raise hell to get a refund that will take 7-10 days to get back. Never even had a appt. Good Luck if your a fool enough to use them
