Let this be a warning to others…. Read and trust the reviews! We were in the process for signing up with Thriveworks on the phone and had gotten to the point where we gave them our credit card. Prior to finishing the phone call, we received a phone call from a psychologist that we had been waiting to hear from and told the person on the phone that we were no longer interested and to cancel everything. The Billings issues are horrendous, the counselor turnover is high and they charge a monthly fee for ‘premium’ services that you don’t get. Avoid them and find somewhere else to go.

This company does nothing but take advantage of people with mental illness! I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for almost a month along with being over billed about $700 and they have done nothing but given me the run around!

I called on Tuesday 3/30 before my first appointment. I called to ask if I HAD to have the membership in order to be a patient. I spoke with Carla, who was awful. I'm not sure what her problem was but she should not be working in a mental health organization with her attitude. For people with crippling anxiety and issues with people taking down to them, Carla was very triggering for me. She kept cutting me off mid sentence. I can recommend my personal therapist, but not Thriveworks. They never called me back, their website never works and it is difficult to get in touch with them.

Thriveworks is suppose to bill me on the day of my appointment, but have don't seem to know how to do this. I was billed 3 months after my first visit and billing is a constant issue with this company. I like my therapist, but the billing department is a joke. When you call for assistance, be prepared to speak with no one that has any clue.

My wife signed one of my children up for this service. After, we went online and read all of these horrible reviews about billing and decided to cancel. We called the SAME DAY! My wife received email confirmation that the service had been cancelled. One month later, one day before the appointment (that should also have been cancelled) my wife's credit card was charged the monthly fee. I went there for help with my anger management and all they wanted to do was talk to me about God and the Bible for the first 20 minutes of our therapy session. Now don’t get me wrong I’m all for God but that is not what I went there for if I need spiritual guidance I will go see my pastor at my church . so I would not recommend these people unless you want to be taken off your meds and sent to Church which I can do all by myself I hope this is helpful please don’t go see these people. Terrible experience. They charged me over $300 only for the therapist they set me up with to tell me in the first 5 mins ( after being 15 mins late and still charging for the whole hour) that she can’t help me. They said they would help me find another therapist but never did. I emailed asking for an update and instead of helping they said we have cancelled your account.
