Tim and his team did a wonderful job getting us closed on our first home. As a first time home buyer, I didn't always understand the jargon or how things were unfolding, but we got out in the end spending less than we anticipated. That was a real A+ for us. Tim Sutherland and his team at SunTrust, especially Karen, were great to work with. Tim put together a great loan program for us with multiple options, low down payment and a solid interest rate. Tim laid out the timeline up front, and he and Karen made sure to see if through. He is one of the hardest working people you'll meet, even sent our pre-approval letter to us at 8pm on a Friday night so we could make an offer that was indeed accepted. Tim was easily one of the best sales professional I have worked with. He was very helpful through out the loan process, promptly responding to any queries and following up with the loan processors. Very surprised! Not in the sense that I knew Tim because I didn't but because of the way he and Suntrust worked with me. Very responsive, knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. I even went to my other broker... Always shop around and told him about the rate and terms that Tim and Suntrust were offering; he was shocked that I could get those rates and terms for a home loan without PMI. Tim, Donna, Jennifer and the entire team at Suntrust Mortgage were great! We had a fairly complex refinance and Tim found a way to get it all done, on time!
