"Shady" and "dishonest" would be the two words I'd choose to describe this place. Maybe also "slimy" and "sloppy". I went in there to see a specific car. The car had some physical damage that was not visible in the online listing, so I was less interested in it. I also couldn't test drive it because the key for the car needed to be sent to the car company to be reprogrammed. My girlfriend and I recently had purchased a used car in full here and the guy who helped us constantly lied while making us wait for 6 hours total to get checked out. He made our experience horrible by lying about the price from the beginning and then he lied about when we were able to drive it off the lot. I didn't like the customer service or overall experience I had here. Horrible experience. I brought my car in during July 2022 to have the peeling paint fixed after there was a recall on it. I was told it would be early next year before they could fit me in. Annoying but ok I can wait. I called again January 2023 and was told I was #13 in line and it would still be a 4-6 months wait because they are only able to do 1 vehicle per week AND that if they were unable to get me in before July 2023 time for the recall would lapse and my car would no longer be eligible to be fixed. I live an hour away from the dealership and when the license plates arrived at the dealership they refused to mail/ship them to me. Their front desk and service center never answers the phone. My iPhone maps showed that their service center was open so I made the hour drive. Unfortunately, the service center was closed and I couldn't get my plates. We recently bought a car from Texas Toyota of Grapevine. We tried everything to work out something with them, and they just kept using the "sleeze factor" in trying to resolve anything. First, when you go in there, you will notice it feels like a "sweat shop" in some ways, or a time share presentation. Overall experience - Meh. Advice - Stay vigilant. We recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Texas Toyota of Grapevine and, while we went through with the purchase, it was definitely not the best experience. Thankfully I had ready some Yelp and Google reviews ahead of time so I was vigilant throughout each step, saving us $$$ they tried to tack on during the sales process. Purchased a used Tundra, worst buying experience I have ever had at a dealership. The initial contact went smooth and I really liked the salesperson. I didn't haggle with the price as I knew the truck was priced right. But then it all went wrong. I was already pre-qualified from my bank but the dealership wouldn't accept my financing. Monkeys could run this place better than they do. This is the special needs of all dealerships. Don't recommend. Go elsewhere.
