I traded in two cars and bought a new 4runner and a used civic. I have to say the overall experience was great. Like any trip to the dealer there was some time spent negotiating that I typically dont care for but we worked out a deal that made me happy. Minh my sales rep was magnificent. I was able to keep the rims and tires off my tacoma that I traded in and he helped me rip out my $1800.00 stereo from the subura I also traded in. Luis and Chantelle were great. The rest of the staff was very friendly, often asking if they could get coffee for us while we were waiting. Only twice in my 74 years did I feel like leaving a tip! Portland Toyota gave us a hassle free, good price. I'll strongly recommend this dealership to all my friends.
Was able to drop off car early and pick up later was smooth. Did needed work and didn't do extra work. The layout of the waiting room has improved (last there about 2 years ago, because work site changed). Best of all, the service advisor pointed out that a different dealer had not recognized that the hybrid battery was under warranty when they replaced it last winter--I've gone back to the other dealer to recover the cost (which is about $3000).
The improvement in personnel and service is huge. Everyone I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. Last year was disappointing and I filed a complaint. This was a real turnaround.

When my Jaguar was totaled i replaced it with a RAV4 for use on country roads. The RAV4 developed a computer problem but because i had bought an extended insurance policy it could be replaced a nominal cost to me. Dennis in the service department was terrific and the car was repaired promptly. I have used Broadway Totota two times and in both instances they have been incredibly efficient.. BRAVO DENNIS
It's a pleasure going into Toyota of Portland, and being taken care of by Royce Sigloh. I had problems w/ my expensive battery I bought at the dealership, and Royce made sure my warranty was taken care and my new battery installed. SInce I paid 180.00 initially for my battery, I was miffed that they would charge me for installation of a new battery under warranty, but Royce took care of it so I did not have the installation charge. Every individual that help the process was knowledgeable, patient and transparent. It was a seamless transaction. The dealership is clean and well stocked with amenities to keep you and your kids busy during the process. Will certainly use again.
