The food was ok. But the service was horrible. My waiter had a table of 9 people come in and he completely ignored me. I had to demand his attention. No matter if you are a table of one. The service should be the same. Shame on this restaurant. The waiter should be disciplined
The staff was overly and disenguniousky friendly to the point that we felt we needed a shower. We thought the waiter thought he should be invited to sit with us. Then we got the bums rush. All that treatment for $180.00 is unprofessional
While the food was good it felt like we were eating in a cafeteria. Tables crammed in such that you had no privacy.
Food was expensive for what it was and was not good. My friend’s salad had some kind of sand or grit in it. The veal piccata, which is usually a favorite at a good Italian restaurant was dry and absolutely tasteless. I was looking forward to it and was so very disappointed, which the $32 pricetag only exacerbated. This restaurant used to be ok, but no more - never again.
Disappointing. Open Table reservation was not retrieved. We were seated after a short delay. Food was a mixed bag. Appetizers: Calamari/squid grossly overcooked; an order for hearts of palm salad was replaced with an arugula salad. Main course: risotto was good, salmon was mediocre; pasta dishes were OK.
Extremely noisy, crowded, indifferent service (waiter "forgot" to offer dessert platter. Food "so-so."
Very disapppinted in the service. Felt very rushed. Have been to the restaurant many times and our previous experiences were wonderful. Not this time. The noise level was horrendous and we were crammed in. We won’t be returning.
Fix the obnoxious Ac system. Unexceptable. Made the experience very poor. I've been there many times...
A tourist trap. Tables were jammed together with only inches to spare. Not very welcoming, could care less that we had reservation. No table cloths on tables. Food was good to poor. Very disappointed. With hundreds of great restaurants in NYC, this one should be avoided.
