The noise level was unacceptable. It was annoying that I, as a person who needs a cane, had to walk down 22 steps to use the rest room on the lower level. Aren't they required to offer handicapped-accessible rest rooms on the main floor? Service was perfunctory at best. I won't be going back any time soon.
Too crowded, tables spaced inches apart with deplorable service. Food was below what I expect for a $200 tab for two people. This is the only restaurant I have ever been to that the wait staff were literally running up and down the aisles bumping into our table numerous times. I’ve had much better food at my local pizza parlor. Stay away from Tratoria Del’Arte!
Not up to standards set in several prior visits. Service was almost nonexistent even tho maitre’d had said it was our guest’s birthday. Food was only so-so and over priced. We were not offered the customary prosecco nor the chocolates at dessert. We were actually embarrassed that we had taken our friend there for her birthday. The restaurant’s only saving grace is it’s close proximity to Carnegie Hall.
ice cold pizza; waiter didn't care about our table; one person had a fairly good dish; overall bad experience although we have had a better experience in the past, not sure we'll go again
After asking for bread and seeing every table around us receive bread, I had to flag down a server to finally get some after 20 minutes. Extremely noisy and not relaxing. Would not go back. My Italian food is better.
Ugh, what a waste.
The service is horrible. The food was OK, but costly. I would suggest eating elsewhere.
Use to have the best Lasagna in 2006 and also served Grappa from a huge jug. Went to Bond 45 the night before and was disappointed. Went to TDA the next night and found the same menu as Bond 45 WHAT HAPPENED???
The food was average. Bread with some plain olive oil on the side was boring. Dinner was fine but nothing spectacular. Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce and the clams were small and only two in shell. Sauce was a little bland. Even some fresh chopped parsley would help. Lasagna that was very heavy although the sauce had good flavor. No garnishes to make the plates look good and you do eat with your eyes first. The best part was the old school energy of the place....busy, bustling fun italian and chatty staff. It just would hav... read more
