Very bad service. The kitchen lost our order and we got served after one hour asking what was going on. Server was rude and did not pay attention
Outdated. Overly crowded. Big disappointment. Service was rushed and inattentive. My lasagna was good, very good but my daughters steak salad was very over cooked nor did the waiter explain any of the dishes or recommend highly ranked ones. There was no way of seeing or knowing where to go once you entered the doorway. People standing around everywhere wondering where to go. Big let down overall.
I-a woman walked up to maitre'd with Hubbard behind. As I gave our reservation information he immediately eyed my husband and spoke directly to him and ignored me. As our table became available he seeked us out and even though reservations were in my name walked up to my husband to let "HIM" know that our table was ready. After 20 minutes of sitting at our table with no attention given at all we left the restaurant never to return.
Just horrible...food. was cold...no attention paid to three seniors...never again
I understand that we had one of the last reservations of the night, but there was just so much missing here and that should not be a reason for a poor experience. We seemed like an afterthought the whole evening. No table set up when we arrived, out of there famous chicken farm, everything seemed off. We were pretty disappointed because this place came recommended by several people. There are too many other restaurants in NYC for us to ever come back.
Our dinner table for my special occasion was across from the Host Stand with paper placemates! Patrons waiting to be seated were gathered there to wait bumping our elbows as we ate. Our server had difficulty getting to our table. We had to request silverware, ask for waters to be refilled and request plates be cleared. It was LOUD with the host shouting constantly. Despite free Prosecco this was not a dining experience it was a nightmare!
Made reservations weeks before ( we go there a couple of times a year) & asked for a quiet table. Offered a table near the front door & bar area. Quiet- not!!! Then ,when I declined , I was offered another table but had to vacate in 2:15 minutes. I don’t want to dine with a time limit. Host finally sent us upstairs & gave us (6 of us) the worst table - small & cramped in a small corner where you could ( & did) hit your head when you got up. Table was rocky . Not good. Had a reservation and still told to wait in a long line. Was very loud. Lots of kids. Didn’t stay.
We were seated at the worst table in the house, right next to the door and it was snowing outside so every time the door opened the cold air was freezing. We asked for another table because we didn’t want to wear our winter coats at dinner and we had to wait over 45 minutes for another table even though we had a reservation! They told us they had another table for us but all they did was make us get out of our table so they could seat another couple at our table.
