My dad was a usual to this place about 15 years ago and wanted to experience again the great memories he had of this place. He was so disapointed : the antipastis are now carbs (quinoa, potatoes ...) quality and flavor are poor, the place is really noisy and the check is not worth the overall experience.
We were sat and despite loads of waitstaff we had to ask any random waiter/staff for water then drinks. Our dinner order was taken and we never saw our waiter again until the check.. Needed a fork, and a few other things. Zero service, felt like a factory Pizza was great , cheese ravioli blah. Very loud but your in the theatre district so it's busy.
Possibly the worst meal in recent memory. No idea who writes these glowing reviews. Please do not waste your money when there are so many other good (and less expensive) restaurants.
We have always been very happy with this restaurant until our last two visits. The service which used to be so personal and attentive is now just classic tourist restaurant level. The food quality has gone down as well . Very disappointing!! This last time our meals were cleared so fast we didn't even have an opportunity to say we weren't finished and two of the meals I would have loved to bring home for left overs. Came for an early dinner but the staff was not very attentive to details. The entire restaurant was at our disposal yet we were offered a seat next to the bus boy/waiter station. Various plates, napkins, and utensils on our table were dirty. Food arrived cold. The wait staff continuously congregated about the station to discuss who was waiting on what table. No discretion was practiced. Currently, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Food was not cooked well. The staff did comp some of the dinner which is as nice. Felt
Strange. No butter or oil brought with bread. Food brought and got cold (not very warm to begin with) whie one of the two diners was in rest room. Food not well seasoned.
