Food was not great. House specialty of Veal Parmesan was full of gristle, the marinara sauce tasted like it was made in a soapy pan. There was a strong taste of soap in the sauce. The octopus and calamari appetizer was not good. All in all, the food left a lot to be desired
We didn't have much time and the waiter was quick to take my order for the table but, that doesn't mean, don't ever come back or never come back and refill waters. They basically just slammed the food down and called it a day. I didn't realize the calamari wasn't Fried and it was very fishy. Pizza toppings are mmmm ok but, barely any sauce and for the ridiculous price! To pay for a pizza that could barley feed 2 people that's Made on a tortilla basically? Sauce was scarce. $28. Crazy. I mean, it seems like there are several ... read more
Mediocre food. Overpriced
The vibe is old and tired New York Italian restaurant --- not the updated picture on Open Table. If it is busy, step to the back of the bus! Our waiter couldn't be bothered with even refilling our water --- we had to ask a passing waiter to do it. After not being able to get his attention for 20 or more minutes, I walked to the bar and asked for the bartender's help getting the check. When the waiter finally brought the check over 10 minutes later, he didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for his delay. It's sad because... read more
Disappointed, a friend purchased a surprise dessert for us and the restaurant never served it.
Food was not that great. The scallops were not fresh and the squid had no flavor. The service was average. I would not recommend.
Too pricey for what they offer. "Most Popular" dish, chicken parmigiana, was a chicken breast beaten into submission covering a 12" plate. The "chicken" was maybe 1/8 inch while the breading, on both sides was 1/4 inches. Service was very good and 4 select appetizers also good. Again, too pricey for offerings.
Disappointing overall. Decent food. Pushy, fast paced service which I would understand if it were pre theater. On of our meals was not explained well.
What happened? I used to eat here a lot, but had not been here in a few years. The antipasto used to be really delicious. I ordered 3 vegetables - charred carrots, mushrooms, cauliflower "cake" with cheese". The mushrooms were tasty , but the other 2 bland. I ordered tuna with balsamic glaze and asked for steamed asparagus because I wanted to avoid the oil in the vegetables accompanying the fish. The fish was totally dried out and the asparagus had not been washed and were sandy. The dish was inedible. They were very nice ab... read more
