No sleep for the weary Room was supposed to have a large fold out couch, per the room pics. Room was banged up and dirty in spots. In addition they are cleaning the windows and the equipment banged up against the window all night.
Fair I upgraded my room from a 1 king size bed to a 2 queen size bed and it took away the balcony. To me that wasn’t an upgrade it was disappointing. My card was charged all these different amounts abs it was very confusing. I don’t know how much I paid to stay at the Tropicana. Would I recommend this to anyone and the answer is I’m not sure leaning toward no. A lot of bums right outside the hotel and on the casino floor. Not a good look at all. Disappointed and Unhappy There rooms were horrible, beds were uncomfortable. There was a smell. The bathroom walls were peeling . Completely outdated. The elevator floors were sticky. You could pay for a room at the Borgata for the same amount and it’s 10,000 times better . The pool was so small. The hotel was dirty and outdated . The pictures in booking.com did not represent what the hotel really looks like. Especially our room. It was kid friendly.
Disappointing I didn’t like that there was a line for every elevator. When I was trying to check out I couldn’t get on the elevator I had to use the stairs. It seemed like 1 elevator was coming for each floor and of course there were lines.

NOT FOOD FIRST WE HAD TO PARK IN THE GARAGE AND HAD TO DRAG OUR BAGS IN BY OURSELF AND IT NOT RIGHT, IT TOOK MY HUSBAND A LONG TIME. OUR ROOM NOT BEING CLEANED ONE. HOW YOU HAD TO MAKE A RESERVATION TO GET A CHAIR AT THE POOL. I PAID GOOD MONEY TO BE THERE I SHOULD HAVE A CHAIR AVAILABLE TO ME. MY HUSBAND COULD NOT GET A RECEIPT FOR OUR BILL, THE POOL NEAR OUR AREA THE CHELSE THE POOL WAS CLOSED. RESTAURANTS WERE CLOSED. OUR CARD DID NOT WORK SO WE WERE LOCKED OUT. Disappointing Casino very smokiest from the smokers,windows in room very dirty,
Not a beach resort There are 4 pools that you can never enjoy. Why close a pool at 6? I like to walk the beach at night, you can’t do that here:(
The room quality was very poor and for that cost, forget it. Never again. The room was dirty, outdated, noisy, overpriced, and a long walk from the boardwalk. There was pubic hair and a used bar of soap in the bath tub. The inside of the windows were disgusting. Hard floors that were not clean and made the room loud, Maids never came to the room to replace towels or provide any service at all. Furniture appeared to be picked from the trash.
