Fair Wanted better view of ocean
Did not like upgrade & North tower I love Tropicana and have booked through Booking many times however I paid to upgrade my room and I feel completely ripped off with the upgrade. The room in the North Tower did not have a deadbolt. The tower elevators were right in the smoking section of the casino. It seemed the North Tower was a little more low key. Old people and families.
Bad
Very Good Security staff was rude. I called to make a reservation for breakfast and the woman that answered the phone to transfer me to the restaurant was disgustingly rude Front desk staff was so pleasant, hotel was clean and comfortable.
Not a great experience overall. Customer service starts the front desk was terrible. It took us 1.5 hours to check in! Check out was also a bad experience - there was a long line for the elevators to the car garage. It took us 30 minutes to get from the hotel elevator to our car after we checked out. Our room was clean and comfortable. The food choices were pretty good.
Disappointing

Disappointing. I was located in the West Tower, not sure it the other ones are “better”. - If I wasn’t careful, so would have fallen off my bed because the mattress, base and box spring (?) were all going in different directions, and I almost toppled off. - the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. - I left my bed clear, hoping for it to be made (and it was) ..but but it was made with the same sandy sheets that I left on it. - The room facilities and bathroom seemed old/run-down. - we came back to the room at around 2:45 pm su... read more
Disappointing Most restaurants were closed & the ones open had long lines and poor cuisine. Lots of slot machines inactive. Very disappointing & a waste of time & money. Couldn't even get ice cream. The room was decent & in a good location.
