I was in shock listening this morning to the customer service rep from True green and my husband today. Late year he asked to speak to a manger they have it noted and the lady remembered my husband calling to complain. Yet no manager ever called. The issue is weeds, no fertilizer is being put down when it needs to be. The product they claim is fertilizer is not. We have weeds all over the yard. Horrible customer service. Can't get past the call center to a local branch. They burned part of my lawn and some of my bushes now have the browning and different colors. All the weeds are growing back. The tech who came today explained their mistakes and said that the pre emergent they routinely spray must have drifted on the bushes and was used in lower temperatures than it should have been. He then tried to sell me on their shrub and tree service. I'm canceling my service. What a waste of money.

We signed up with Trugreen last fall because it was more economical than our previous lawn treatment company. That was a huge mistake. In May the technician sprayed our fescue lawn with the wrong chemicals and killed the entire lawn. It took 4 months to get a plan in place from Trugreen to 'fix' it. However, they refuse to resod the lawn because they want to be more 'economical' (the words of the branch manager). They are choosing to overseed it instead of fixing it with sod. You're Fired. Trugreen started out okay but overtime the service has has constantly declined. I truly don't think their technicians don't understand how to treat lawns. It's either overkill or under on treatments. When it overkill as in too much weed spray to control growth you lawn will brown out for weeks.

This company is a scam. I was very dissatisfied with an aeration service I received last year. I did not sign up for any aeration subscription and would never use TruGreen again after their machine damaged my property. Additionally, I would never schedule an aeration in July during a heat wave. Despite this, I was charged for aeration and told the technician completed the work and knocked on my door. I have cameras and would have seen them, plus my spouse works from home, and no one came by. I do not recommend their services... read more

True Green really messed up our Lawn, I'm so angry, all of our grass is burnt and we have the worst yard in the neighborhood. My Lawn was pretty I just thought we would get a treatment to make it thicker but now we Don't have grass, I really don't want to give a one star.

Not even worth 1 Star. "NOT GOOD" would be a complement!! Absolutely has to be the "WORST" lawn care company in the area. If your looking for total customer "NO" service then Tru Greens local manager "GREG" is your guy!!!! They'll come out, over spray and burn your lawn leaving your hill side looking like a creek bed!! You'll never get past their customer service phone people plus you'll enjoy email after email promising that "GREG" will call you, which he never will. Definitely take your money elsewhere!! TruGreen sucks!!!

I tried trugreen for one year, I paid top dollar so my lawn wouldn't be the worst in the neighborhood. Instead I had out of control weeds, and when I called trugreen to come out, they gave me excuse after excuse why my lawn needed time to adust and respond to thr chemicals. Meanwhile I LITERALLY spent 4+ hours a DAY pulling THOUSANDS of weeds in JANUARY, while my neighbors laugh at me. I'd give them a 0 if I can. ITS A SCAM. They clearly told me that after getting their service done, the weeds will die and if I see any weeds, give them a call and they'll come back for another service round for free and will do so till the weeds are dead. WELL THAT WAS A LIE! I got 4/5 services done (some were sneakily added to my schedule without my approval and I had to pay extra) and after all that.. WEEDS ARE STILL THERE! They came for an end of year service in DEC saying that after this service, when the grass grows ... read more
