ordered siding for house sales lady said all products were in warehouses cashed our check with bank we got no siding the bank has stopped our loan payments as of last month and is going after them they are not to be trusted we got new windows from them they were slow then but with the siding we got nothing but a payment and nothing on the house buyer beware don’t use them
After waiting the 3-4 months for our new windows to come in the first time, they came out on Oct 14th(excited that they would be here before the cold weather hit) they removed all the windows in the home only to figure out at that point that our master window had been mismeasured. So they used plywood from our garage to patch in the opening. We were put on their “top priority list” (which is a joke) our window estimated time of arrival is Jan 7th, then it will need to be installed after that. So they are telling us 3 months ... read more
Ordered 4 window replacements in earlyJune. I Paid 1/2 my balance upfront. They come. They measure. I hear nothing for months. I call and call all reps know nothing September the warehouse manager calls says everything on backorder. Fine. Here's where they lose me. I get a call 11/12 my windows are ready .I have until 22nd (10 days from now) allow install.my 1st available is Dec 6. I'm out of town for holiday. They told me I have to pay $500 in storage fee for delaying the installation!!! Done. Don't use this company
😡😡😡 We are HORRIBLY disappointed with the lack of customer service with Universal Windows Direct!!! After ordering new windows for our home in March of this year, we are STILL waiting for 2 windows to be installed. The company has made a mistake on the same window TWICE now! They are now saying they won’t have the new windows until November 30th. A full 8 MONTHS after originally ordering them! We can only hope that they’ll be installed by Christmas at this rate! In May 2021 we ordered 3 windows. It is now October and 2 of them have been installed. The third window has been broken several times upon delivery to the warehouse. We are never informed of this and only find out when we call to find out what is going on. Universal never contacts us to set up an install, they only set it up when we call to find out what is going on. Today they came out to finally install the final window. Sales Rep was very nice and respectful with our home and had a great sales pitch. We were quoted and decided to listen to other quotes. In the meantime, received three additional calls trying to get us to buy. we got other quotes and went with a local contractor. When I tried to cancel the latest appointment, the rep on the phone was disrespectful and very pushy..Not good business practices for sure
I was hoping to have my Windows installed by Fall, which were purchased on 720/21 and now I might be Lucky if I have them by beginning of Winter! The Timelines given are Contrary at Best and now not Believeable! Customer Service always just gives you a maybe date at Best! I Want my Windows, which are already paid for and I would like Some Money back! original Sales Agent is the Best UWD has to Offer! I was told the day I purchased my Windows that 12-14 weeks I would have my Windows installed! speaking with Customer Service today, they may not even have the Windows back from Manufacturer, let alone installed in my Home! The Times given are not Real and it does not seem they will be able to fit their self Given time-line! our salesman was great and the installer team was great, but the issues of waiting until 5 minutes before our cutoff time day of install, telling us that the team did not show up. mind you this is May. one of the windows were made wrong(I get stuff happens), lack of communication with production manager saying they will call back and never did, finally come the time my window is in and ready for install at the beginning of August they said they couldn't have it put in until September!
