I have been dealing with my windows since Frebruary and finally they are fixed. I have been told that I will not be reimbursed for my custom made valence that installer broke. This valence was bolted to the walls and not easily removed as policy suggested. Very upset about this. I have asked to speak to president of company and is waiting to receive notification. Have not heard back as of 9.16.22.
UW had a good price but I question how nice of a product it is in the long run. Additionally, the installation day was kind of a mess with the projected time they would show up being 1pm and they didn't arrive til 5pm, then working til close to 8pm. It felt rushed and that the work wasn't given the time it should have been afforded. As it is, there is sealant cracking around the door that we are going to have to call and have someone out to address.
Never. Worse experience ever. I should have went with Renewal By Andersen. Tried to save some money by going with UWD. Wrong.!!
They were not communicative and very dismissive of every problem I have had with them every step of the way.
1. They are some what disorganized, not having the right tools at once. At one point, the slide door glass got too much pressured as he tried to remove it, ended up shattering it. I ended up providing an old curtain to catch the glass. 2. Left tools at my house 3. Shattered glass pieces found on drive way. They lifted the damaged panel over the balcony rail which is directly above the drive way. I sweeped the glass aside since I do not own a shopvac. 4. I personally removed the stickers, wiped clean the glass though unable t... read more
