Windows did not come with capping, it took a month to do that then windows are not the same,looks sloppy . Two screens have holes in them they still are not fixed. A shutter was broken that still is not fixed and I am getting conflicting answers about that. They are scheduled to come out again 3rd time on October 10th I hope everything can be done by then. In the mean time the front of my house doesn’t look like I thought it would . The windows do look good on the inside.
No. The service was poor and one window was measured wrong by several inches. Windows were delivered with hard to remove stickers that should have been removed inhouse and by Universal Windows. Techs didn't put my blinds back up when finished.
One of our windows did not come in the correct size with the rest of the order. We were told by the installer it would be corrected within the week. It was not. We called multiple times and were never given an answer as to when our window would come in. It took about 3 months to get the correct window in, which was part of a matching set. We started the process in March and still do not have the completed windows and screens we paid for. We were suppose to get pet screens on two windows, but that is not what was installed.
Installers were rude and nasty about the stuff being in their way when I was told they would move it with no problems ask
I have been dealing with my windows since Frebruary and finally they are fixed. I have been told that I will not be reimbursed for my custom made valence that installer broke. This valence was bolted to the walls and not easily removed as policy suggested. Very upset about this. I have asked to speak to president of company and is waiting to receive notification. Have not heard back as of 9.16.22.
UW had a good price but I question how nice of a product it is in the long run. Additionally, the installation day was kind of a mess with the projected time they would show up being 1pm and they didn't arrive til 5pm, then working til close to 8pm. It felt rushed and that the work wasn't given the time it should have been afforded. As it is, there is sealant cracking around the door that we are going to have to call and have someone out to address.
Never. Worse experience ever. I should have went with Renewal By Andersen. Tried to save some money by going with UWD. Wrong.!!
