I haven't had my windows installed. I have had 2 doors installed and 2 screen doors, and the install results are not good. They wanted to come out and look at it, but I work until 5. I was originally told it would all be installed the same day, then they changed it The Friday before the Monday install. I can't take off work to have someone come out and look at the bad install. The sales person lied about several aspects of the windows, quality, staff, and installation process. Additionally the wrong door was delivered, installed, and I have called several times and have not received a call back to correct the issue.
Asked for replacement of bay window, frame and windows but was quoted just 3 windows at $1,000 per window. When I told the company about the mistake they did not care and have been calling to get an.install date. Will never refer anyone but will tell all I know about this situation and discourage them for ever getting an estimate
3 windows were incorrectly made, one installed window is cracked, two screens were not installed. Several change orders created during production lead to confusion and incorrectly made windows (2 of the 3 mentioned above). My perception may change once the project is complete. I have also not heard anything back from UWD since the field manager requested the remakes of the incorrectly made windows above.
Time expected was 8-10 so at 10:00 I called the office but then I looked outside they were pulling up. I wish they would’ve called so I could’ve went to the store. No masks. No shoe covers worn on carpeted areas. I know it’s not their job but I’m a widow and alone so I asked if they’d put blinds back up and they did.
