1. They are some what disorganized, not having the right tools at once. At one point, the slide door glass got too much pressured as he tried to remove it, ended up shattering it. I ended up providing an old curtain to catch the glass. 2. Left tools at my house 3. Shattered glass pieces found on drive way. They lifted the damaged panel over the balcony rail which is directly above the drive way. I sweeped the glass aside since I do not own a shopvac. 4. All personnel associated with the project were very professional, accommodating, and considerate. Communication was outstanding throughout. Given the age of the windows being replaced and the final product installed by UWD, I would definitely recommend UWD to my friends and neighbors.
This does not reflect on my most recent service call, which was the conclusion of well over a year of service calls to resolve my installation issue. Dozens of visits, calls, and problems.
Low quality product, very poor workmanship, windows and door delivered/installed with multiple scratches, dents sharp edges, black marks. Overall they appear as rather used than brand new product. One window is already broken after 1 day of use!
Universal Windows Direct – Columbus, OH Day 1 – 7/25/2022 – The crew showed up four hours late past their arrival time indicated from a phone call the previous day and was only on site for 90 minutes. During that 90 minutes they were able to incorrectly install two windows while the entire team argued with each other.
