My final installation will not happen for 4-6 weeks, so I will reserve final judgement until I have a functioning window. But given my experiences thus far, I would go out of my way to recommend someone NOT use Universal Windows Direct for their window needs.
The only people that can get a response are new customers looking to buy. Once they get your down payment they couldn’t care less about you.
I would not recommend your company because of the over4 months delivery time. I had 4 other crews waiting on the new windows before painting, flooring, appliances and bathroom restoration. That’s unacceptable
These people lie and give the run around starting with the salesman. And upper management don't call you. They blow you off like your a piece of shit.
My sliding door needs to be completely re-installed. It's just very unfortunate.
The product is good. Poor communication and poor quality control on install
Lack of communication regarding production of windows and their installation was non existent. It felt like they had our money and they would get to us when it was convenient for them. Very unprofessional.
#1. 3 windows were installed with the wrong grid pattern (we are waiting for correct ones to be made) #2. Our installation had to be split up into 2 parts (,which is ok), but the crew was a week late installing the 2nd round of windows, with no explanation or apologies. #3. They did not finish the exterior trim. The installers said they would return to finish it And never returned, leaving the side of our house exposed.
