Horrible Horrible Horrible. i’ve waited 6 months for them to be installed and it’s still installed correctly.
I have as impressed up until install day when everything that could go wrong did. Then when I reached out to UWD to seek answers and remedy, I was given an email address to send my concerns and complaints to, which was responded to that they were waiting on paperwork from installer before any action could be taken. That was over a week ago . . . still nothing!
Installers arrived on time, but I received a call from Universal Windows apologizing for the delay a few hours later; the crew had not communicated that they were already on site. All interior work was completed (windows installed from the interior of the home) but outdoor work has not yet been completed. Windows were installed Friday, this review is being written the next week. Crew also left tools inside the home that they needed to pick up. Was contacted that my windows were ready for install, then called back a couple days later saying them called the wrong person. I had already taken down my blinds and waited many weeks for actual install. Plus one pain on my Slider is damaged.
I wouldn’t recommend this company to someone i dislike. Delay after delay, zero communication, and no willingness to do anything for me. Took 14 months from date of purchase to finish the house. Meanwhile my account was being charged since January!!! No one offered me anything to help resolve the situation.
The project from Nov 2021 is still incomplete, every few months someone comes to the house to complete and the job never gets done because of I made planning or wrong ordering of supplies.
