Management problems
This was the worst experience I have been through purchasing anything
The installers did not do a good clean up job when completing, including leaving broken glass inside, outside, and on the street by their trailer. Install required multiple reschedules, and took 3.5 months from order payment.
Very disappointed with company and services
Universal Windows Direct of St. Louis has still not issued me a warranty certificate detailing what is exactly covered. Installation could have been better / more careful. I've found a few small dings and small scrapes on the new doors and new windows framing. The kitchen sliding door has a crooked piece at the top just under the trim. The windows and my inside trim also had grease spots that should have been cleaned. I have a brand new broken window that arrived in that condition, and a curious 3 year old that I have to keep away from the dangerous broken window. Plus, the holidays are right around the corner and I have no idea when the window will be replaced. I did receive a rather generic email one week after install, stating that a ticket had been opened for my window issue, but no communications since. No apology for the inconvenience, no guidance on how and when the rest of this process will shake out.
