Horrible place to bring your elderly parent to the staff was rude , not enough staff . Nobody to greet my mother when she arrived The nurse coral was very aggressive and rude . The were not gentle with my knowing she has dementia they should know how to talk and be gentle with patients . The admitting nurse Coral was loud and didn't like to be corrected when she was going over my moms medication list and pointed out that it wasn't twice a day , she gather her papers and walked off . This review is for anyone who is looking to send their loved one to this facility. I can honestly say that if my family was not there to advocate for my grandmother and physically be there to see how the staff treats their patients, I don't know what would have happened to her. Thankfully, God literally sent an angel to watch over my grandmother through the caring, thoughtful and determined roommate she had. This facility is so grossly understaffed. My moms roommate clearly has dementia, and never has any visitors to advocate for her. She went unchanged the entire 5 hours I spent there and was obviously soiled by the odor in the room. I turned on her call button for help and The staff would walk in the room, turn OFF the call button and never return! My mom had to eat lunch in the stinky room! Absolutely horrible place, from management, the nurses, the cleanliness. All of it it awful!!! It looks like a prison in there! Do not take your loved ones here, just awful I can't express it enough

My mom is currently a patient, she was transferred here after getting covid at another rehab, she is fairly happy with staff but having mixed results, for example no bathing, not even a wet wipe after diarrhea, although someone compassionate did clean her the following day. The biggest concern is the "misplacing" of her meds. It is 12:30pm now and not received her 9am meds. I called and was told they were misplaced and the nurse didn't know how to reorder. Avoid this place at all costs. My 77yr old mother was patient here after surgery. Not only did she go uncared for (read the reviews below, all true) but when she was admitted to emergency when her recovery took a turn for the worse they NEVER REACHED OUT TO LET ANYONE KNOW. My mother died in the hospital two days later. I cannot say enough terrible things about this place. No updates from doctors, no real PT routine, and when you call them, you get the run around. This place is the worst for your loved ones. Patients go unchanged & have to lay in their own urine for hrs. If they can't feed themselves they don't eat. I was here do to Covid. One night I didn't get my meds & the next night I got double. Blood pressure went dangerously low! I will be turning this nightmare into the state!

We had the most horrible experience at Vasona Creek. We took my mother in law there after a fall at home left her unable to stand or walk. Ring the call bell for bed pan assistance......wait 15 minutes then go ask someone to come...another 15 mins and if lucky we'd get help. First night there she tried to get up and fell again, after a trip to the ER we came back and the staff acted like nothing happened and just put her back in her room with no conversation about what happened and how it would be prevented.
