Problems with Product/Service I entered into a lease of the property located at *** ***** **** ***** ** **** *******, on May 16, 2022. Since my move in on May 25th I've experienced a wide array of issues related to a rather poor quality rehab of the property. Items include BLACK WATER out of all the faucets. Problems with Product/Service Vinebrook homes bought the home from my landlord they immediately tried to force me out on the streets with my children the first reason was because they wanted to raise the rent to 1300 and when they realize that was breaking the fair housing code they said they needed me out because of maintenance issues. Problems with Product/Service I am complaining about the company’s lack of maintenance on their property. This is the second time that our air conditioning has gone out. The first time we contacted the company and let them know that temperatures in the house were getting up to 83 degrees in the house and that we had several people in the house with asthma and/or other conditions. Problems with Product/Service I have been contacting vinebrook with issues and seeking explanation about my rent charges in an attempt to be proactive and take care of my bill. Up to this point I’ve receive one return phone call out of about 5 or 6 that’s I missed due to me being at work at the time and I returned the call as soon as I received the message. Problems with Product/Service I have a problem with the HVAC not cooling the house. It seemed that there was less air in the vents. I crawled under the house to inspect the duct work, and found a soccer ball sized hole that had rotted away. I then filed an online maintenance request on 6/1/2022 and a technician arrived on 6/2/2022. I showed the maintenance person where I saw the hole in the duct. Billing/Collection Issues Vinebrook homes mistakenly paid my water bill which I paid more than two weeks prior. They than add the amount to my rent and turned off the only way I paid my rent. I was unable to pay thro6the online portal. I tried to pay rent day before the dues date so I alerted them to the issue. One person responded regarding proof of the water bill being paid. Problems with Product/Service Hi, I would to submit a request to speak with management (******), regarding ongoing maintenance issues at **** ******** ******, **********, *******. Moving into the property I have had to move out due to Spire not cuttings the heat on due to flames coming from the Hot Water tank. Problems with Product/Service Vinebrook homes is PREDATORY. They bought the building I was living in, took over the lease and then told me they were terminating the lease. They told me I had thirty days to decide if I would sign a lease with them or move out. Problems with Product/Service THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE!!! YOU ALL SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS FROM A COMPANY. I moved in the end of April.
