Problems with Product/Service When My family and I first moved into our new place which is Vinebrook homes we were given a Two week time period to write down anything we noticed that was wrong or needed fixed we did so and sent the email to the property and also put in a maintenance order and no one has responded to the maintenance order or the email. we have several things in our apartment that still hasn't been fixed and we also have paid rent on time leading up to the months we have been living here.
Problems with Product/Service I just received a letter in the mail 2 days ago from the City of Columbus Department of public utilities stating " This letter is not a demand for payment from you. However, water service at the address referenced below will be terminated on 10/05/2021 UNLESS the following happens" They receive payment of 461.26 by 9/28/2021 OR if I pay my rent into an escrow with Franklin county Municipal court and notify them back by 9/28/2021 My issue with this is 1. Billing/Collection Issues I was denied a house rental by Vinebrook homes. After filling out their rental form to the letter, in which I meet all their qualifications. Taking my money for the application fee, telling me I'm good to go. Then being told I need something else to prove/provide. Getting the run around, noone returning my calls. Billing/Collection Issues 6/17/2021 there was a garage fire at our residence. Through forensics, it was learned that it was electrical. It took Vinebook nearly 90 days to have the structure cleaned up, and action was only taken after they received a letter from the health department. I was told it was due to insurance taking a long time to process. Now the mess is clean, but the garage will not rebuilt and I do not understand why we had to wait so long for insurance, only for it not to be used to replace what was lost. The c... read more
Advertising/Sales Issues I rented from vinebrook homes and moved out at the end of lease on 8/3/21. After emailing several times regarding refunding my security deposit I received an email stating the full refund was mailed to my forwarding address on 8/30 but the address they said it was sent to is the wrong address so therefore I have not received it. I have emailed, called office about 20 times and cannot get a call back. All I am asking is that the prior check be canceled and be issued another to the appropriate address.
Problems with Product/Service my mother passed from COVID, i had to use my money to assist with funeral cost. i was told by VINEBROOK to apply for the COVID assistance, i did that send in personal reports of death for my mother and the funeral bill. i told them i have my job but sept rent will be late - the next day they left a letter on the door, they are sending letters to leave the property. Problems with Product/Service I am newly leasing a home at the listed address. The carpet in the master bedroom is completely unacceptable. The company had covered the scent and spots of the carpet for the showing. After I signed the lease I went over to the home to fill out the move-in maintenance form. I then noticed the carpet reeks of cat urine, and I am highly allergic to cat dander. Advertising/Sales Issues VineBrook homes is the ABSOLUTE WORSE rental company! I submitted numerous email communications about being approved for rental assistance & even down to the point of when I was notified y my case worker from the Birmingham Urban League when our check was ready for pickup. Problems with Product/Service This a long overdue complaint...I rent from this company and they are horrible with communication...They barely respond to emails and nobody answers the phones...They have been invoicing me about having an A/C tech come out and try to fix the issue with my air!
