I used wag recently to board my 7month female puppy For a few days. She had so much fun playing with other dogs and got home exhausted and calm. At pick up, I was given a verbal report on how she played, interacted with other dogs and how/when she ate. They are open 24 hours which was very helpful if I had any questions after hours.
Business response:
Thank you so much Stephanie for your wonderful review! We are happy to hear your puppy had fun playing and socializing with her friends at Wag. We hope to see you again, very soon!
Took my dog Indiana to the Carson Wag Hotel. First off very clean establishment. The staff was awesome! Very attentive, gave me a tour, and explained everything very well. Indiana had his first daycare day today which was free and loved it. He will be joing the Wag family on a permanent basis.
Let me to say that we love Wag Hotel South Bay/Carson! We have been searching for a daycare that has flexible hours in terms of our work schedule and also our future vacation schedule. We appreciated the fact that Wag Hotel has 24/7 hours so it was perfect for us. It is also in close proximity to where we live so it is excellent for our needs. As background, we've been taking our dog Tauntaun to Wag Hotel since she was 4 months old because we were worried she was under socialized. She now loves to interact (more like bark!)... read more

Hi Heather, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a glowing review! We're really pleased to hear that we we can provide you peace of mind when she is in our care and with that being said we really appreciate you so much for giving us the opportunity to provide care for TaunTaun. It's always a pleasure to have her as a guest here at Wag Hotels. Looking forward to seeing you both again! Best, Tiffany, General Manager
Love them. Sweet staff... my fur babies had fun too. definitely will be going here again as needed
We drove over an hour to visit WAG Pet Hotel in Carson, only to be told they were too busy to give us a tour. I called the day before and was told we could come anytime before 4 p.m. According to their website, they offer daily tours between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. We arrived around noon, well within that time, but were turned away and told to come back next week. It was Thursday -- a regular weekday -- so why no tours if they're supposedly staffed all week? The lobby was empty except for two people at the front desk, and throug... read more

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry that we weren’t able to provide a tour during your visit and we understand how disappointing that must have been after an hour long drive. Unfortunately, due to the volume of dogs in house, we weren’t able to offer tours at that time but were more than happy to offer a brief explanation of our services along with making an account for you in the meantime to better understand your needs. We truly value your interest in our hotel and hope you’ll consider gi... read more
I dropped off my son's dog this morning for a whole day play, the dog didn't finish his breakfast, so I took a goody bag, the front desk lady told me that I couldn't leave the food because they were full and she didn't have a place for the dog to eat and the dog was going to be in the play area all day and if the dog started vomiting then she would do something about it..!! I'm heartbroken and didn't want to complain at the moment, I was late for work and don't want to give the news to my son out on vacation, but I'll defin... read more

Hi Roberto, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me earlier and bringing this to our attention, and again, we sincerely apologize for how your experience was handled. We understand how upsetting this must have been — no pet parent should ever feel unsure about the care their dog is receiving. Since your visit, we’ve taken steps to address the concerns you raised. We've reviewed our intake procedures and clarified our feeding policy with all staff to ensure no pet is ever left without proper attention to their feedi... read more
Thank you for your response, Erin. While I appreciate the acknowledgment, I want to be clear--this situation went far beyond a matter of unmet "expectations." My dog was injured under your care and required emergency stitches totaling over $800. What's most troubling is not just the injury, but the lack of urgency, transparency, and accountability in your handling of the situation. Repeated requests for clarity and to review footage were met with vague responses and continued delays. A facility that markets itself as safe a... read more

Hi Vanessa, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience at Wag Hotels did not meet your expectations, and we understand how upsetting this situation must have been for you. While we did take steps to address the incident back in March including communication and follow up, we recognize that the resolution did not fully restore your trust. That is never the outcome we hope for. We care deeply about the pets entrusted to us and are continually working to improve our sa... read more
Disappointed and Deeply Concerned I entrusted wags in Carson, CA, with the care of my year old golden doodle for several months, reassured by their promises of constant supervision, attentive staff, and a safe environment--especially important given my dog's age and socialization needs. Unfortunately, my trust was broken. I received a call saying my dog had been bitten on the ear and needed to be picked up. What they failed to mention was the severity of the injury--he required stitches and the bill exceeded $800. When I ... read more

The front desk was informative thank you but what happens behind doors with our four legged family members . Well that is to look out for. My family and I were not at all pleased with the treatment that was clearly given to our 9month old GSD. Not only was she given CBD without our consent but the full camera package was unacceptable. Our poor puppy was out of it for two weeks , thank goodness she is finally back to her normal playful self. Overall they did not follow simple instructions nor our recommendations with our own ... read more

Hello Madeline, We're truly sorry to hear that Princess wasn’t feeling her best after her stay, as it’s never the experience we want for our guests or their families. We appreciated your offering us the chance in February to speak with you during the time of your experience over phone call and in person, and we understand your concerns and sincerely apologize for the miscommunication that occurred during her stay. We’ve taken this matter seriously, and as a result, were glad for the opportunity to directly address and hel... read more
