This company will not pay out a rightful claim. It’s a shameful thing to treat people in this manner. If you’re considering doing business with this company, don’t. They’ll screw You around too.

Washington National Insurance is quite possibly the worst insurance company I have ever worked with. Not only did they enroll me as a male - which never in my life have I been a male, their customer service representatives speak to you in a condescending manner. They are pretty pricey. I canceled my policy when I changed jobs. I got a refund check, yet I’m still getting lapse notices. I’ve tried 20 yes 20 times to get ahold of a person since I canceled with wait times over 20 minutes. This is not customer service.
