If you're paying a high deductible medical insurance plan they are 1/2 the cost $ from the local Inova run Fairfax Radiology! Washington Radiology....Well worth it!

December 2022 - COVID Review: 2-3 stars for the ultrasound front desk staff, 5 stars for the ultrasound techs and doctors (suite 200) I had an order from my OB to go to an outside facility to get my level 2 / second trimester anatomy ultrasound done. Most places in the area were completely booked out for weeks or even into the new year, so I was grateful that Washington Radiology had availability so soon since I needed the results before my next prenatal visit. I read the bad reviews and so was even more anxious going in for my breast biopsy. But everyone I encountered was kind and supportive. I was just about panicking when I went into the room, but Dr. Malik and the two nurses/techs present were incredibly helpful in putting my mind at ease. One of the nurses said she'd been through the same thing and was fine, and Dr. Malik reassured me that it was a minor procedure. Everyone was very nice, and the appointment was quick and thorough. The doctor takes a look at your scans straightaway, which is very helpful!

Washington Radiology in Fairfax is the best! I have had to go monthly for my pregnancy ultrasounds and each time is a great experience. The front desk ladies are pleasant and I've had two awesome techs (Pegah and Camio) do my ultrasounds. I met Heather the manager and she is great too! I've went to other radiology centers and this one is awesome. I drive past Fairfax Radiology to come here.

Camio, the sonographer was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what she was doing, as she was doing it. She then had Dr. Alison come in and go over the actual imaging and results with me. Dr. Alison also had a nice bedside manner. What really impressed me was that they were able to diagnose a tendon issue that the other two specialists I saw missed. I will definitely come to them first next time if I ever need another ultrasound. Thank you both :)

Mammogram appointment...I loathe showing up. It is necessary, and important, however on twisted level...I'd.rather.have.a.someone.slap.the.back.of.my.head. Mrs. Johnson was my mammogram technician, she made me feel at ease; friendly, informative, kind, thoughtful...met me as a peer, unlike soo many medical visits which attempt the parental, "I know best approach"-not here.
