I felt the tech was not confident during my mammography and sure enough I had inconclusive results and they called me to schedule a retake. I drove 40 minutes to get to the appt for them to tell me that even though this is a retake I still need a dr order. I asked why they didn't tell me since they called me. "We tried calling you at 4:30 last night and couldn't reach you". Well I am sorry that is too late for me to get an order for an appointment the next morning. No apology was expressed. Had same experience as Alex with waiting to be seen & noticing others who arrived much later being taken first. Finally seen well after appointment time. Additionally they billed my Secondary Insurance first instead of Medicare first then they sent the Medicare claim to an incorrect address. After nearly one year, it is finally corrected. Have been going for 20+ years but will not be back.

I have been going to this radiology clinic for many years, through 2 babies being born and now 3 mammograms. I will not be returning after my experience today. I arrive at 2:05 for my 2:15 appointment. All of the calls, text and emails said to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment. There were 2 ladies working the desk helping 2 women and the waiting room had at least 10 women waiting. I put my name down and waited about 10-15 minutes to be called for paperwork. I've been getting my mammograms from Washington Radiology for years and all has been fine. However, when I needed to have an MRI at the Fairfax office because of a breast cancer diagnosis everything went to hell. First, I wasn't able to get an appointment for several weeks. That was annoying, but I understood-MRIs are limited and I know there are always busy. If you are a current patient or employee, leave asap! FRC is right around the corner and it's so much better! I worked here for a very long time and the place has declined with an intensity that is baffling! Upper management is useless and evil and it trickles down to the center management and staff. Everyone is burnt out and treated like trash! There are no incentives to stay or join the practice! If you are looking to work at any Washington Radiology, RUN away! Always at least an hour wait I don't understand why they schedule so many people if they don't have the technicians to service the appointments. I've been coming here for years and there's always tons of people in the waiting room and at least an hour wait.

So it seems Washington Radiology sold out to a big conglomerate in TX. With this change comes a NO-CARE for the business or its patients. There's NO WAY to contact the Billing dept. There's NO WAY to get itemized statements or other stuff needed for share orgs for self-pay people. While the people at Washington Radiology are kind or not, helpful or not, it's the bigger picture that ensures we can never use them again. I have been coming here for years and have seen some changes that are not particularly matched for the population of clients. The waiting room is extremely warm and takes a long time to be seen, wait is consistently 45 minutes behind schedule. Staff are abrupt and state they are short-staffed (which is unfortunate and stressful for them), making it sometimes uncomfortable experience.

I had a 2:15 appt today at the Fairfax location. I arrived at 2:00 as per their request. I was not called to go to the changing area until close to 3:00. Once I was called back, I waited for another 15 minutes, without being seen. I left the changing room to make sure I had not been forgotten about - and was told that I was next. When I still hadn't been seen for another 15 minutes, I got dressed and let the staff know that I wanted to cancel my appointment and did not want to be charged.
