I had to come here for an OB ultrasound appt in Nov 2023 since my OB did not have any available ultrasound openings. I came on 11/30/23 and they were unable to get all the images they needed to complete the ultrasound. They had asked me to come back the following week on 12/8/23 to complete the images - claiming that coming back the same day would not allow the baby to move enough to get the images they needed. This company has a monopoly in the DC area for mammograms and so doesn't try to make it anything more than a miserable experience. Sibley is so much better but it's so hard to get an appointment there. I came here last year for a diagnostic mammogram and walked in to a front desk informing me that the wait was 2.5 hours! I left and had it done at the K Street location when I could get an appointment months later. I tried again in 2024 and walked in to be told that they were running "30-40 behind." Why should I be billed for an ultrasound that was incomplete and needed to be repeated at a different imaging location that was actually competent? I had an ultrasound 2/9/24, they called me shortly after I left because they knew they were missing parts, I returned. They were STILL missing important views and my doctor sent me to get it repeated. I went to Fairfax Inova to get it completed. Why am I now getting a bill in November? I would give zero stars if it were an option. I went to an appointment at your clinic in Sterling and was treated with very little sensitivity, understanding, or respect. I have been going here for over 15 years without any issue. This year a different story. First appointment I waited 1.5 hours only to find out they were backed up and couldn't tell me when I would be seen. Things happen so I leave and return 2 weeks later for my new appointment and also waited one hour after my appointment to get seen. The mammo went fine, caring staff. I have never waited less than 1.5 hours. Be prepared to take a full day off work. Techs are fine, but how are they always behind - even if I have one of the first appointments of the day?

I have been using Washington Radiology for my mammograms for over 20 years. They used to be very prompt and never kept my waiting for very long. This is no longer the case. I had a 10am appointment. When I arrived the waiting room was packed and was told there was about a 45 min wait. Wow. After signing I I sat in the waiting room for at least 20 min before I even given the initial paperwork for my visit. I needed a general x-ray and called to schedule an appointment. They told me they don't do appointment, only walk in. After speaking to the phone agent they told me that they walk in's are fairly quick. I ended up waiting 1.5 hours to get seen. Once I was seen I was they took some X-rays and sent me on my way before calling me telling me they forgot to take some X-rays. I had to drive back to finding. Ended up spending a little over 2 hours. The staff didn't communicate any delays.

I want to be clear that my review and criticism is specific to front desk staff on the first floor for MRI. I have been to this location multiple times for mammograms over the years and always had a pleasant experience. However, I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and chose this location for my MRI. I came in and was hit with immediate attitude. They were slow to speak and then told me to sit and just wait.
