I've left three voice mails, sent one email, and one fax to try and make an appointment. I have not received one phone call back. I am not sure what is going on with their office but it's very disappointing when you are told by your doctor you are a high risk cancer patient and you need a breast MRI. I had to schedule elsewhere.
Fraud Fraud Fraud !!!!!! Stay away from Washington Radiology. I had a viability pregnancy ultrasound there last year, and they submitted two claims to my insurance for the same service. As a result, my insurance covered one claim but denied the other. I informed Washington Radiology about this error, yet instead of fixing it, they sent the unpaid bill to a debt collector--even though it was their mistake. They sent an outstanding bill to collections even if I never got the mail they said they sent. I asked how many times they tried me and they said they sent ONE mail and all of a sudden I've got a debt collector messaging me and texting me. I would have paid it if I had known.
Wait time over one hour . Wait in the front room and wait in the dressing room. Front staff is indifferent. Been coming to the Fairfax location for years and this is the worst experience.
I've been to this location two times and every time it has been a complete mess. The first time the two ladies at the desk were entirely unprofessional, going back-and-forth about being overworked and this and that are not their job. I sat in the waiting room for an hour. Checking in and checking out no one lever bothered to enter my email address, so I never receive reminders or preregistration. The mammogram was done very nicely. HOWEVER, my appointment was on July 21 and here it August 11 and I have not received any results. I called to inquire and was told that my mammogram has NOT BEEN READ yet! Three weeks and has not been read????
I went in for a 330 appointment and was told to drink 36 ounces of water starting an hour before then. At 4:30 I was still in the waiting room, the only person left, and they close at five. I walked out.
I went to Washington Radiology in Fairfax for a mammogram and was waiting patiently in the gown when Washington Radiology said that due to a typo, I'm missing a zero before my record number, all my 33 year history of coming there for a mammogram were "unavailable". They couldn't give me my mammogram until they recovered it and they had no ETA on when that would be. Spent 15 minutes on hold. Told them what I needed and which of their offices I wanted to go to. Then went through long process to give them my information after which they told me they did not offer the scan I needed the location I asked for.
